Hailing from the mountains of CO, Lorraine Karren-Brakke, daughter of a rancher, painted the life of the old west, character portraits, wildlife and nostalgic Americana. She studied under Wm Yelland, Master Restorationist and restored many old master paintings. She won many awards in open shows and was becoming known as one of America’s finest woman Western artists when she fell victim to Cancer and passed away in the late 1980’s. The previous print of Roy Rogers and Trigger was painted by Lorraine in 1981.

Charles Sultan was born in Brooklyn, New York in the early 1900’s. After studying with George Bridgman, John Steuart Curry, Walter Biggs and Harvey Dunn, he began working in the 1930’s for pulp magazines.  He painted numerous book jackets for Zane Grey and for several years illustrated John Wayne comic books.  He worked in all mediums but his favorite was oil.

Ernest Lord Ransom was born on a Texas farm in 1944.  He became a professional artist in the 1960’s experimenting with various media.  He has won several awards including the Vincent Price Award in 1968.  He has distinguished himself as a very talented Black artist whose collectors include Vincent Price, Perry Mason and others.
